Set in the heart of lovely french countryside, Chatenet is situated 45kms south of Poitiers, near Sauze Vaussais.

We have a large gite that sleeps 2-8 people plus a sofa bed if you have a party of 10. The pool is available to all guests and is an impressive 12 metres by 6 metres and is set in 3.5 acres of orchard and meadow. Fields of sunflowers, corn and wheat dominate the surrounding countryside. Creating a perfect holiday for peace and tranquillity, the perfect place for chilling out. We have plenty of hammocks for relaxing and the area teams with wildflowers and animals, perfect for bird watching, cycling and lovely walks. We are also near the river Charente for all water activities such as kayaking, fishing, canoeing, etc. The small town of Sauze Vaussais is only 20 minutes easy walk or a 2 minute drive away, it has a supermarket, two bakeries, banks, hairdressers, bars, restaurants, etc, etc.
